This is a rather useless post. But I find it somewhat amusing and educating at the same time.

Have you ever wonder what would be the last result returned by Google Search ? Use this LastGoogle.com to find out.

I just gave it a shot and go search for ‘money’. The last result is actually a link to pr0n site, Opps!

Still, this is not all unrelated! Hmm…

But wait! It says ‘Number of Results’ is a staggering 1,400,000,000! 1.4 billions results?! And it also says the last displayed result is result number 863, so what gives ?

I retried this by searching at the Google.com using this

http://www.google.com.my/search?q=money&start=1000, asking Google to search and return me the 1000th results and beyond. And it gives me this error.

Hmm…. how come I’ve never noticed this before – Google doesn’t return you with more than 1000 results! So what does this tells you? It tells you that there’re probably many undiscovered sites deep in the web.
